Bartok is your boy. At 14 years old, he’s mastered the art of relaxing and is happiest cuddled up next to you on the couch or snuggled under a blanket (he loves to burrow).  Bartok is still mobile and gets around just fine, just needs a little assistance going up stairs or getting up on the couch. A quick walk or a little time in the yard is all he needs to stretch his legs before heading back to his favorite nap spot. Bartok is both dog- and people-friendly (and likely cat friendly since he does not have a mean bone in his body). He gets along well with other dogs in his current foster home and loves meeting new people—though he’s more of a quiet observer than the life of the party. His easygoing temperament makes him a great addition to many types of homes. He’s a perfect match for someone who wants a calm, loving companion without the demands of an active lifestyle. Bartok doesn’t ask for much—just a soft place to rest, a cozy lap, and someone to love him in his golden years.  Apply to foster or adopt him.
