My story

Meet Our Newest Littles!   Name: McChicken, Age: 8 weeks old (as of 5/19), Gender: Female, Breed: Pit mix McChicken and her 3 siblings joined our rescue on 5/18 after finding themselves in a shelter with their momma. While momma was lucky enough to quickly find a rescue to take her in, the shelter was left searching for help for her babies. Rescue space has been incredibly limited lately, but thanks to two amazing fosters who stepped up, we were able to pull these cuties to safety! At around 8 weeks old, these pups are just beginning their journey to forever. We’ve seen their momma — a beautiful pit mix — but we have no clue who dad might be, so your guess is as good as ours! That said, we’re calling them pit mixes, and we anticipate they’ll grow to be  at least 50+ lbs when fully grown — but like all shelter puppies, there’s some mystery involved! They’re young, wiggly, and learning about the world one paw-step at a time. Adopters should be ready to continue working on potty training, crate training, and commit to professional training to help these pups grow into well-mannered, confident adults. They’ll need patience, love, and consistency — but will repay you tenfold in kisses, snuggles, and tail wags.
