My story

ntroducing Molly! Behind those sweet little eyes miss Molly has had quiet the past and life before being rescued! Molly was recovered from a hoarding home with 70+ other small dogs that had caught on fire. When officials pulled Molly from the home she was not breathing, and her gums were blue from lack of oxygen and smoke inhalation! She was rushed to our vet clinic where she was hospitalized to save her life. While there they discovered she was pregnant. She recovered well with vet care but unfortunately, she lost her puppies as they were born premature due to the stress of the fire and her rescue. Molly has been with her current fosters for a few weeks now and is learning what it's like to live in a safe and clean home. She is still very shy and prefers to watch the action from a safe and comfy blanket but is opening up a little more each day. She is not comfortable being held or picked up but will come snuggle next to you for some pets and attention. She does better with another smaller more confident dog she can take ques from in a new home. This girl seems to not have received much human contact prior to rescue so it will take her some time and patience in her forever home to decompress and learn to trust. She gets nervous but has not displayed any aggression behavior, she will just hide. She is fully potty trained and uses a dog door when available and loves to be outside in the fresh air, grass and sunshine! Molly has been fully vetted which includes her spay and vaccinations. She does have some dry eye issues that will require occasional eye drops for comfort.
