My story

Meet Obie, a gentle young Cattle Dog with a heart full of potential. Weighing just 26 pounds, this small-to-medium pup may be shy at first, especially in the loud and unfamiliar shelter environment, but give him a little space and a quiet yard, and you’ll see his curiosity start to shine.Obie is the kind of dog who thrives with patience and understanding. While he’s still figuring out toys and playtime, he enjoys soft affection and is comfortable being handled. He’s beginning to show interest in the world around him—and with the right adopter, we believe he’ll blossom into a wonderful companion.Obie showed us his playful and fun side in a recent playgroup session. With every passing day we see more and more of his personality show.  With love and encouragement, this sweet boy has all the makings of a loyal adventure buddy, ready to explore the world by your side.If you’re looking for a quiet soul with lots of potential, Obie may be the perfect match. Come meet him and help him write his next chapter.He has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
