My story

Hi there, I’m Spike - a dashing tuxedo with a big heart and even bigger resilience! Life started off a bit rough for me I was rescued by Smittens after being restless, hungry, and on my own for too long. I had quite the appetite when I arrived (I ate like a horse!), trying to make up for lost time. But things took a little turn when I had a health scare in my foster home. I wasn’t feeling well and had to spend some time at the vet for fluids and monitoring. I also developed a bit of stress-related hair loss and had to have a tooth pulled. But don’t worry - I bounced back like a champ! I’m a strong, resilient guy with a sweet and playful spirit. I absolutely love toys, especially rolly balls that I can bat around for hours! I’ve been around other cats, though I haven’t interacted with them much. With slow and thoughtful introductions, I might be okay sharing my space - but I’d also be just fine soaking up all the love myself. I’m looking for a safe, loving home where I can explore, play, and let my fun, friendly personality shine. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with a lot of love (and energy!) to give, I just might be your guy!
