My story

All About Me Name: Bora Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 17 kg (38 lbs)   Hi there! My name is Bora. My name means “purple” in Korean, but if I were a color, I’d be the warm golden light at the end of a cozy day. I was born in a rural area, and my previous owner made use of me as a farm guarding dog. I remember that the place where I had was sizzling hot during summer and freezing cold during winter. I was tied up in a short rope, and it never allowed me to escape from any harsh conditions.   My Health I’m in great shape! I’ve been spayed and had all my necessary vaccinations, including rabies and core vaccines. My heartworm test was recently done, and everything came back all clear. I don’t have any allergies or medical issues, and I’m not on any treatment. I’ve got a healthy appetite, a shiny coat, and I’m ready to start a happy new chapter! Rabies, DHLPP : 2024. Oct. 30 Heartworm : Negative 2025. Apr. 16   My Personality I’m a loving, affectionate girl who simply adores people. I’m known for leaning in for cuddles, gently asking for pets, and if you’re new to me, it won’t be long before I’m rolling over to show you my belly. I’m told my fur is extra soft and fluffy just wait until you run your hands through it! I'm sweet, gentle, and well-mannered, with calm energy that makes me a peaceful companion. But don’t let that fool you. I’m also playful and curious. I love walks, sniffing the world around me, and bonding with my humans in quiet moments and active ones alike.   Social Skills - With People: I’m friendly with everyone I meet even strangers! I don’t mind being picked up or touched, and I truly enjoy human affection. I haven’t met many children yet, but I’m calm and polite to people of all ages. - With Other Dogs: I’m a social girl who gets along beautifully with other dogs, especially those around my size. I approach with a gentle spirit and prefer to avoid any drama. Whether it's playtime or just hanging out, I'm a lovely packmate. - With Cats: I haven’t been around cats much, but on walks, I do get excited if I see one. With guidance and training, I’m sure I can learn how to be respectful of feline friends.   On My Walks‍ Walks are one of my favorite things! I love the fresh air, the new smells, and just spending time side by side with someone I trust. I can get curious and pull a little on the leash when I’m excited, and sometimes, sudden noises or busy streets startle me. But in calm areas, I walk well and stay relaxed. With reassurance and routine, I know I’ll continue growing in confidence outdoors.   Life at Home I’m easygoing indoors and love to rest after my walks. I usually go potty outside and have great manners around the house. I’m not a big barker, and I’m very content when resting in a kennel or relaxing on my own. One thing to know is I’m not the best in the car. I get a bit queasy on rides, so shorter trips or calming strategies will help until I feel more at ease. Food is definitely one of my love languages! I’ll gently ask for treats and stay engaged with training when snacks are involved. I don’t guard food and I share nicely with others.   My Ideal Home I’m dreaming of a forever family who will love me for the sweet, affectionate girl I am. My perfect home would offer: - A Gentle Companion: I thrive on affection and love being close to people. - Room to Explore: Walks, adventures, and sniffing new things bring me joy! - Patient Encouragement: I’d do best with someone who can help me continue building confidence in busier environments. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with soft fur, a loving heart, and a calm spirit, I just might be the one for you. I can’t wait to meet you and share the rest of my life together.     ##2404612##
