River is a sweet and cuddly 6-month-old black lab mix who’s ready to find her forever home. While she might be a little timid at first around new people and environments, give her just a little time and you’ll see her affectionate, playful personality shine through. River is currently working on her potty training and leash skills, and she’s making great progress! She’s generally comfortable in a crate—she may let out a few cries at first but settles down quickly. She’s also been introduced to cats and is learning to respect their boundaries like the polite pup she’s becoming. This smart girl loves squeaky toys, chew toys, and puzzle games that keep her curious mind engaged. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll snuggle up with you after a day of fun, River might just be your perfect match!
