My story

Orville is a young, handsome black cat—about one year old—who’s just beginning his journey into the sweet life of indoor comfort. Found in a local cat colony in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, we initially thought Orville was feral. But it turns out he was simply waiting for the right moment (and the right humans) to show his true, affectionate self. Now safely inside, Orville is living his best life. He adores soft beds, belly rubs, face kisses, cozy cat trees, and filling his belly with good food. He’s got a sweet little voice and isn’t shy about singing you a song or two when he’s feeling happy and playful. He’s still discovering all the joys of being an indoor cat, but his heart is wide open, and he’s ready to love and be loved. Orville would thrive as a solo cat in a calm, caring home where he can continue blossoming.
