Romeo in Texarkana TX

My story

Romeo is a male black with tan wire haired Dachshund or dorkie or some type of dachshund mix. He is about 2 years old and he weighs about 13-14 pounds. Romeo is recently neutered. He is vaccinated including rabies. Romeo is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Romeo is ready for adoption. Romeo is Valentine #9 from our group rescued on Valentine’s Day, all pulled from the same overcrowded home. Romeo is a smart, affectionate little guy and very food driven. He is people and dog friendly and could probably live with a cat. Romeo is crate trained and has done very well with potty habits. He is not trained to walk on a leash. Romeo picks up on things quickly so he should learn a leash without much difficulty. He loves to run and play with other pups as well as cuddle up for petting. He should do well with any family configuration Adoption fee is $350. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
