My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:7Avril is a beautiful 3-year-old Siberian Husky mix with a gentle soul and striking silver and black fur. She’s still learning to trust and feel safe, but she’s showing sweet glimpses of her personality—soft licks, curious sniffing, and a willingness to explore when things feel calm. Avril is sensitive and may be undersocialized, so she’ll need a patient, experienced adopter to help her build confidence. In playgroups, she does best with calm, well-matched dogs and benefits from handler support. She could thrive as a solo dog or with the right canine friend.
