Time to brush up on your Dad jokes and hide the crackers (all of the crackers), because Papa Ben is coming to stay! With some off the charts charisma and the type of je ne sais quoi to make Gen Z say wha, Papa Ben has effortlessly made a lot of us fall in love with him and it is a major problem. So please, help us help you with getting this irresistible little gremlin into your home before one of us cracks and does it ourselves. Our landlords and pet policies thank you. Papa Ben was found stray, sure, but that isn't who he wants to be known as. Some backyard couch surfer drifting through alleys and looking for some free kibble. He wants to be cuddled and doted on. He wants to make you feel bad about needing to get up and go to the bathroom because he just got comfortable in your lap. And he wants to look good doing it! Papa Ben was a known cat around his area, but was brought in to the city shelter after showing some signs of breathing issues and a suspected cold. It was discovered he has a partially dislocated sternum, likely due to some unknown trauma or injury. His new family should keep an eye on that for any future issues -- difficulty breathing, jumping, or signs of pain -- and bring him to your vet for further evaluation. His dental care should also be watched and he should likely get a cleaning in the near future, along with anything else a vet recommends. While he was inside with his caretaker Papa Ben showed some friendliness to the residents cats and wouldn't mind making some more feline friends in his next home!
