My story

Hi! I'm Rosie! I'm an approximately 1 year old, female, merle Pit mix. I was found off King street on 05/18/2025 and never reclaimed. I am an incredibly affectionate and loving girl who is looking for my second chance. It is unknown what my life was like before coming to the shelter but I am super excited to find a family to love and cherish me! I appear to do well with other dogs and enjoy the company of people of all ages. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I will be available for adoption after my vet assessment on Wednesday, May 28th. My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm test! IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
