My story

Introducing Keen, a sweet and gentle pitbull with a heart as big as his smile. Keen is the kind of dog who melts into your lap for cuddles, then happily trots outside to bask in the sun or play with his favorite toys. He’s calm, loving, and has an old-soul kind of kindness that makes everyone feel at home. This brave boy recently underwent foreign body surgery—an unexpected twist in his journey. His former family sadly couldn't afford the care he needed, and made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he could get the help he deserved. But Keen hasn’t let that slow him down for a second. He’s been around other dogs and does wonderfully with canine companions. Whether he’s lounging peacefully in the yard or chasing a squeaky toy with joy, Keen brings a gentle and steady presence wherever he goes. Keen is looking for a forever home filled with love, sunshine, and cozy spots to snuggle. If you're ready to open your heart to a truly special dog who’s been through a lot and still chooses love—Keen is your guy. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
