Cory started to display his intelligence by trying to find different and creative ways to get his leash off. When walking past the other dogs Cory did not care or acknowledge any of them. Cory accepted but didn't seek further attention outside his kennel as he was too focused on getting out of the leash. Inside his kennel he would jump on the handler looking for pets. This behavior observation was performed by staff in the shelter setting. Please note that behavior observations are not a temperament guarantee. Yucca Terrace Rd. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian.
