Blue Bayou

My story

A volunteer writes:Blue Bayou was clearly looking for help when she literally entered someone's dwelling...Indeed, she had a big cold that needed medical expertise and after spending a week or so at her finder's home, Blue Bayou was brought to the care center. She is now on the mend and ready to meet her new owner or family. Blue Bayou is a cute gal, dressed in a silvery coat, petite, overly thin, curious and shy at the same time. She welcomes  her visitors, leans strongly into pets, drops on her kennel floor and purrs galore. Too much noise sends her in brief hiding but she is quickly back on task, busy spending time with her hosts. She loves to eat and gulps food offered to her. Blue Bayou has lots of weight to catch up with. Her past is a mystery but the little time she spent with her savior tells us that she was in the home a timid but sweet cat who enjoyed the lap. It's about time for Blue Bayou to know safety and love. May be it could be with you...What my friends at ACC say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I can be slow to adjust to new environments.
