My story

šŸ’– Meet Sheba – Your Golden Girl! šŸ’– Been homeless for over 250 days and we truly can't understand why =( Sheba is a sweet, soulful lady who’s estimated to be around 9–10 years young and believed to be a Pointer /Pittie Super-mutt mix (with maybe a sprinkle of sass and sparkle in there too!). Weighing in at about 70 lbs, Sheba could benefit from shedding a few pounds—but hey, who doesn’t love a curvy queen? She was the longest resident at St. Clair County Animal Control, surrendered by her previous owner in September due to a move. Despite her long stay, she stole the hearts of all the volunteers—becoming a true shelter favorite. Sheba would hold her potty for 14–16 hours, refusing to soil her kennel. Talk about a classy lady! That same potty-trained perfection has continued in her foster home. These days, Sheba is soaking up the comforts of foster life: snuggling in soft blankets, rocking her piggy jammies, and showing off her toy collection. Don’t let her age fool you—this girl keeps up with her younger foster dog siblings like a pro and will surprise you with her playful energy and signature ā€œhappy feetā€ prance when she gets excited (it’s as adorable as it sounds šŸ˜). Sheba is: Crate trained but does not need to be crated either because she's a certified member of the #GoodGirlClub Dog-friendly A fan of leisurely walks and gentle companionship A little bit of a sassy granny who has a HUGE personality. I.e she will NOT go to sleep until she's been covered up and tucked in properly! UTD on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, hw tested and on prevention Sheba At a Glance: 🐶 9–10 years young āš–ļø 70 lbs. of lovable fluff šŸ›ļø Potty & crate trained 🐾 Dog-friendly 🦮 Walks well on leash 🧸 Loves toys, snuggles, and soft jammies 🩷 Gentle, sweet, and full of life Sheba would be a perfect match for anyone looking to spoil a sweet, loyal companion in her golden years. She’s got so much love left to give—could you be the one to give her the retirement home she deserves? Adopt Sheba today and let her show you just how joyful life with a senior pup can be! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sheba, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
