Location: Ames, IA Meet Athena! Spunky • Smart • Warm-Hearted • Three-Legged Wonder Hi, I’m Athena—a three-legged pup with a heart full of love and a spirit that never quits! Losing a leg hasn’t slowed me down one bit. I run, play, and do all the things my four-legged friends do… just with a little extra flair! I’m quick to learn and full of personality. My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest souls she’s ever met. I love to show off my cool moves and, more importantly, shower you with kisses whenever I get the chance! If you're looking for a pup who’s equal parts resilient, affectionate, and fun, I’m your girl. Let me show you just how amazing life can be on three legs and a whole lot of love. Come meet me—I can’t wait to win your heart! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
