My story

A5697402 Say hello to Reggie ,  an 11-year-old short-haired Chihuahua mix with the heart of a pup and the soul of a gentleman. This darling little guy is the perfect petite companion - calm, mellow, and independent, but still full of wiggles, charm, and playful energy that makes him seem much younger (we’re thinking more like 7!). He adores affection, is absolutely obsessed with belly rubs, and loves nothing more than a good romp in the yard followed by cozy snuggles on the couch. Reggie is great with other dogs and could easily slide into a pack as a sweet older brother. He’s also potty trained, walks well on leash, and has lovely manners - making him a low-maintenance love bug, perfect for just about any home. If you have a soft spot for seniors, or if you're just looking for a loyal cuddle buddy with a playful spirit and a whole lot of heart, Reggie’s your guy!     -11 year old brown short haired Chihuahua mix -9 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/6/25 as a stray  -absolutely darling older gentleman in the perfect petite package!  -an independent soul, with a calm, mellow energy, but a bright, vibrant personality - this little boy seems younger than he is listed as, maybe 7 or so?  -friendly wiggle booty that's always down for some playtime or a romp in the yard, then some cozy snuggles on the couch to relax afterwards; -looooves affection and will give it back tenfold - an absolute fiend for belly rubs!  -good with other dogs, so could make an excellent older brother to any pups you may already have -well mannered, potty trained, and easy on leash, so very low maintenance - could be a great fit for a wide range of households   REGGIE’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/BG5 For more information, contact volunteer Karen at karenklink94@hotmail.com   Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/    Use their unique ID NUMBER. You can also stop by or call… Address: 4275 Elton St, Baldwin Park, CA 91706 (626) 962-3577   ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
