My story

Melon may be small, but she’s got a presence you won’t forget! At just under 10 pounds and about 10 years old, she somehow ended up alone on the streets - not exactly where a tiny senior pup should be. When no one came to claim her, her finder scooped her up (literally... in a purse) and brought her to us.She was in rough shape when she arrived. Missing fur, flea-covered, skinny as can be, and acting a little… off. We weren’t sure what was going on, but after a full exam, our vet confirmed that Melon is perfectly healthy — just a little quirky. And honestly, that only makes her more lovable!Melon loves being carried around like the dainty little queen she is. She’s all about snuggles, soft blankets, and being admired. But don’t let her size fool you! This girl’s got opinions! She’s got a big bark and doesn’t hesitate to boss around dogs twice her size. It’s not mean-spirited though, Melon doesn't have a mean bone in her body! She's just got confidence and loves to be the center of attention! She does well with other dogs and loves every human she's ever met!She’s sweet, a little silly, and totally charming.
