A very special 3 legged soul!!

My story

Sal was given his name at the shelter when he was found. We do not know much about him except he is the sweetest dog and was not going to be adoptable until his leg was fixed. His knee was shot and unfortunately it would of cost $10K to get him a new one so the decision was taken and a couple of weeks back he was amputated after the Surgeon decided it was the best for him and enjoy life without pain. It was a hard decision but we could not leave him suffering for months. Now Sal is enjoying pain free life. Truly a special soul!! This is a little note from his foster Mom Sonya: Introducing a beautiful petite black lab mix, a gentleman to heal loneliness. Solomon has recovered from the pain of a back leg amputation and wants to bring his good boy love to a special person who needs a dog with extra love. Solomon senses distress or loneliness and lays his head on your knee and tries to communicate with his big brown eyes that it will get better, he is on your side. He will need a person that can keep him at a healthy weight to protect his other leg thru diet and exercise. He is fully housebroken, likes other dogs, and does not guard his food from humans but needs to eat away from other dogs. He is shy with gentlemen until they sit, relax, and offer an ear rub or two then he relaxes. He is a great listener, never criticizes or offers unsolicited advice, so he really is a perfect houseguest. His fur is remarkably shiny and he likes to cross his front legs and think about what you say. What a deal on a great therapist. Sal is 5 years old (but is probably much younger) and 45 LBS. His amputation costed over $1,000 and is fully recovered. His adoption fee is $390.00. Please note we are not adopting out of the State unless you have an other house in Florida and we do not adopt to family with young children. Thanks for your understanding
