Unfortunately, her owner never came for her. If you love Chihuahuas, this darling girl has it all! She enjoys chasing a ball, loves to be held close, and has a unique way of communicating with her person. She is outgoing but can be shy when meeting new people, so it’s essential to keep her well socialized. Zara prefers to have a friendly companion dog for company. She loves playing with Leo, a similarly aged Chihuahua mix at the rescue, and would thrive in a new home with another dog friend. She seeks attention and loves to be close to her humans, even while playing with her buddies. Weighing just 7.5 pounds, Zara is suitable for families with older, small dog-savvy kids. However, she should not be around children under ten or those who haven’t been raised with dogs. Zara is housebroken, easygoing, and quiet, only barking during play and excitement. She adores her humans, is friendly with other dogs, and is active. She will make an excellent walking companion!
