Beau

My story

Beau is a 9.5 year old, 12 lb, black Mini Schnauzer. He is heartworm negative, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Schnauzer lovers rejoice! Brown-eyed boy Beauregard (Beau for short) is a sweet and cuddly senior. This black beauty is a typical Schnauzer, don't let his age fool you he can act like a playful puppy, make silly noises, and has the standard Schnauzer bark. He is a skillful gentleman who enjoys a good stroll and sniff around the neighborhood. Beau is crate trained and is doing well with house training. Every so often he may try and mark. This may be related to a urinary issue, now that he is post-cystotomy and is on the right food (Hill's i/d) we have seen improvements! Beau's ideal home would be with one or more adopters who'd spoil him rotten as an only child. However, with appropriate introductions, he is capable of living with other dogs and cats. As an independent gentleman, he requires a securely fenced yard to keep him safe. He is not kid-tested, based on his personality he could live with dog savvy teens.
