My story

Theo is a handsome brown tabby with white markings and a heart as soft as his fur. Though he’s in his golden years, don’t let his age fool you—this gentle soul still has plenty of love to give. Theo adores affection. He’ll lean into your hand for pets, curl up next to you for a nap, and roll over proudly to offer his belly for rubs (yes, he really means it!). Theo prefers the calm life—no loud surprises, no busy households, just a quiet space where he can relax and be near his favorite people. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate senior who will happily be your lap-warmer and constant companion, Theo would love to claim a cozy spot in your home and your heart. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
