How this pet arrived:Sprigatito was brought in by a community member on May 8, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Sprigatito! Sprigatito is a chill little shrub of a cat looking to grow roots in a cozy home. He was found lying in the road after what was likely a run-in with a car, arriving with a collection of fractures that led to a Right Pelvic Limb (RPL) amputation-that's vet-speak for removing his injured back leg to keep him comfortable and mobile. Don't worry, cats are basically made of springs and determination, and he's already mastering the fine art of tripod life. What Sprigatito really wants now is a soft couch to sprawl on, some doting humans to keep him company, and maybe the occasional treat or two. He'll need a little extra care at first, but in return, he'll provide purrs, slow blinks, and professional-level lounging.
