Waylon

My story

Meet Waylon, a kitty who had been seen at the Colchester exit of the interstate for months, along with being noticed in other areas where he had to cross very busy highways! Finally, he was rescued by a Queen City Cats volunteer. The poor boy was very scared for quite a while. His foster parents have worked with him very carefully and patiently and he has made great progress. His true colors are beginning to shine. He is a super handsome tuxedo boy. It took a while to gain his trust but over time he accepted Churu treats by hand, along with petting and brushing. He would need a cat savvy person to be patient with him so that he could adapt to yet another new situation. It's amazing that he found a way to trust people again after having lived the life of a highwayman. He would need more time with someone with patience and gentle ways to make him feel entirely secure. He has all the makings of being happy and content in a loving home with the right person.
