My story

🩵 Adopt Buddy! 🩵 Buddy is a very friendly, sweet-natured, mixed breed dog. At one year old, he needs training and attention but will make a great companion. Buddy is personable and affectionate. Despite his high energy personality, he is very well crate trained and wants to please. He appears to be house trained (has not soiled his crate in 2 months of fostering). He learned the foster routine quickly. He enjoys a peanut butter Kong while crated. He has a soft mouth and takes treats gently. Buddy’s handsome face is hard to capture in a still photo because his sweet and soulful nature is best experienced in person. He has long legs and a thick, soft, short haired coat which is black/brown and white, and charmingly, has one brown eye and one blue. Buddy loves to run and bound around outside and chase sticks and dog toys - the recent wind storms pleased him no end due to the abundance of small branches that appeared on the ground - he could not believe his good fortune and pranced around for days carrying them in his mouth! Due to his youth, upper body strength is a plus for the human who takes him for a walk because he is quite strong and very enthusiastic about life. Buddy can ‘sit’ but does not yet know stay. He will be a wonderful family member! Buddy is current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $150.
