My story

Mango is a 2-year-old stunner with a mellow personality and a love for all things affection. He’s the kind of cat who will trot over to say hello the moment you walk into the room, especially if there are head scratches or pets involved.This handsome boy thrives on attention and loves being around people. A few gentle strokes on his head or along his back, and you’ll hear him start to purr in no time. He’s friendly without being pushy, and always happy to be part of the action — whether you`re talking, reading, or just relaxing nearby.Mango would be a wonderful fit for a home that appreciates a calm, sweet-natured cat who enjoys affection and brings a peaceful, friendly energy wherever he goes.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
