My story

Meet Sal – A Charming Ginger Tabby with a Heart of Gold Sal is the definition of irresistible — a bright, affectionate yellow tabby with that classic “Ginger Tabby” charm. If you’ve ever known one, you know there’s nothing quite like them! Sal was rescued as a kitten, but heartbreakingly, he was later returned to a dangerous and unstable situation in a sketchy apartment complex in Clarkston. There, he and his best buddy — another friendly yellow tabby — stuck together, trying to survive among a group of outdoor cats. Recently, the situation became dire when young boys began jumping fences and harassing the cats, even attempting to harm them. When we learned of this cruelty, we stepped in and brought Sal into the safety of our rescue. Despite everything he’s endured, Sal has remained sweet, sociable, and incredibly loving.
