My story

Nyla is a sweet senior pittypotamus who is hoping that her perfect family is waiting in the wings to come and swoop her up! As in many good works of literature or theater, the main character often has to go through some hardship before they find their true happiness. Our Nyla sure is looking forward to the second half of her story, spent with a loving family who will keep her safe and well cared-for! Nyla’s volunteer friends are rooting her on as well, sharing:“Omgoodness, Nyla is so sweet and spunky! It was my second time taking her out this morning and she was so much more affectionate, goofy and comfortable! She was so silly and played in the pool, splashing, jumping and rolling around, and then she went and rolled in the dirt like a little piggy! She came and sat next to me and absolutely loved having her ears and head rubbed! I held her little head in my hands and she smiled the biggest, sweetest smile! I love her!”“Nyla is a genuinely sweet, loveable girl! She loves to run around the play yard and jump and play with her kennelmate. She also loves to jump in the pool and then roll around- silly baby! She will greet people who walk by the play yard with her big smile and a waggy tail. She can be barky in her kennel which completely gives the wrong impression, because she is really a friendly sweetheart! She`s just chatty! Today after exploring she came over to me, sat down on my feet for a back massage and then plopped onto her side for belly rubs. She is such a hidden gem, you`ve just got to meet her! PS- she gives the sweetest kisses!”Nyla shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs prior to heading home to ensure a good fit.
