My story

Hi there, my name is Whiskey and up until recently, I was living a cats dream life. I had my people that pampered and spoiled me, I have the coziest blankets and humans at my beck and call. Then it happened. My human mom was telling me that I was going to get a baby brother or sister soon. She was so happy when she told me this. How could my life get better. It was already perfect. And then 'IT' arrived. Boy Howdy was I mistaken, a small, screaming human baby was what she was talking about and they make A LOT of noise and keeping me up all night. And all of a sudden IT was getting ALL of the attention! I am NOT happy and my mom is really sad for me because she really hoped that we could all be a perfect family together. So, she promised me that she would work with SCC to find the best home for me so that I could have humans of my own again. She knows that I would do best with older, cat respecting kids. Those younger ones can be a bit noisy. Other than my recent stressed behavior, my mom says that I am super cuddly and am a lap cat. When there are gatherings at our house, I am not shy - I am all about getting love and attention and I am the perfect cat-host. I am about 6 years old. I don't have any dog experience but I have been around cats! Slow introductions are always best. I have lived an indoor life and that suits me just fine. A cat tree by the window would be nice to watch the birds and squirrels would suit me just fine.
