My story

With a name as sweet as his personality, Blueberry Muffin is a playful, wiggly boy who’s ready to add flavor to your life! This treat-loving cutie greets everyone with full-body wiggles, tail wags, and a whole lot of heart. He’s a social butterfly who loves exploring, making new friends (both human and dog), and—of course—snacking! Muffin may get a little jumpy when excited and sometimes snatches the good treats, but once he knows more are coming, he’ll sit like a perfect gentleman. He walks with enthusiasm but is easily guided and always happy to tag along. In playgroup, he’s a total pro—tolerant, playful, and fabulous with other pups. Muffin might not care much for toys, but he’s all about sniffing adventures and human attention. Looking for a fun, friendly, and slightly goofy companion? Blueberry Muffin is the snack-sized sweetheart for you! Come meet Blueberry Muffin at ACCT Philly any day between 10 am & 6 pm VIDEOS Blueberry Muffin, Sapphire, Max and Clownfish: https://youtube.com/shorts/m5QSO5pYlT4?si=HOuaQLJGAof8Y5QB Blueberry Muffin & Tyson: https://youtube.com/shorts/dk4DXYXJO-g?si=uy3a1KRywLz3W2RH Playgroup 5/24: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcnvoGYrJkIZFXcvHNnJcqW44fhYNrDIe BEHAVIOR 05/24/2025 staff noted: Per volunteer that took Blueberry Muffin to his second playgroup of the day: Had no issues whatsoever throughout (getting out of kennel, on leash, shyness, jumpiness, mouthiness). 05/24/2025 staff notes, playgroup: Blueberry Muffin was not steerable and very vocal at the gate. he had good greetings and was rough and rowdy when first coming into the yard. he lacked spatial awareness, pushing himself onto the dogs. he is very steerable IN the yard and took corrections well. the more time he was in the yard the more he calmed down and mellowed out to a dainty group. 5/24/2025: Volunteer Notes: I brought Blueberry Muffin to meet a group of volunteers in the office. He explored the room and greeted very one. He did jump up to seek attention. He was wiggly with a mid level tail wag. He was very interested in the enrichment/treats they were preparing. He was pulling strongly on leash to try to explore the table/enrichment. He accepted treats from everyone, he was a bit snatchy with particular treats. Once he figured out he was going to get treats, he would sit nicely waiting for the next one. He returned to his kennel with no issues. 05/24/2025 volunteer notes: A I took Blueberry Muffin out for an evaluation. In the kennel, Muffin was very wiggly. It took me a minute catch him to slip the lead over his head. Once I had him secured, he easily popped out of the kennel. Muffin pulls moderately on leash but is easily steerable. Muffins is pretty jumpy and quickly moving. He accepted pets and allowed handling all over. In the play yard, Muffin seemed easily distracted by other dogs walking by. He was very vocal, whining and looking for attention. Muffin didn’t seem interested in toys. He was focused on sniffing and exploring the yard. He accepted treats mostly gently. Muffin joined playgroup while I had him out. He was a playgroup professional. Muffin was very playful and tolerant of other dogs! Muffin returned to the kennel with no issues.
