My story

Hi, my name is Lex, and I'm a sweet Cattle Dog mix born on 1/29/25! My foster mom says I'm the softest, sweetest puppy she's ever met. I've been having a blast living with my foster brothers, and they've taught me so much, like how to play and how to walk on a leash. I'm a fast learner, too. I mastered "sit" in just one day because I'm super food motivated and eager to please! When night rolls around, I'm so tuckered out from all the fun that I fall asleep quickly in my kennel. I'm also doing really well with potty training outside, though I still need a couple of potty breaks during the night. My foster parents say I'm pretty chill for my breed, and I even enjoy relaxing on car rides. I will absolutely thrive in an active home where my new family will love to teach me new things. I will be amazing at obedience class! I'd also love a home with kids who understand I'm still a puppy (sometimes my puppy teeth don't know the difference between a hand and a toy!). I'm always up for an adventure, so lots of activity and even hiking sounds perfect. When I'm grown, I'll likely need a 6-foot fence because I'm a curious guy who loves to see what's on the other side of things! I can't wait to meet you!
