What my friends at ACC say about me:I have potential behavior challenges that staff will address with you when you meet me.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I'm sensitive and shy. Only Princess Shelly is Princess Shelly but I thought I would talk through some ideas with her and she asked me to please keep my ideas and my hands to myself. Fair enough. She's going to do this and she's going to do it her way, thank you very much. I appreciate her heart and her independence more than I can say and was grateful when Princess Shelly gave me some alternatives as we built a friendship. Princess Shelly loves to play and spiritedly ran into her cubby to reach her paws out for her toy. Pretending I couldn't see her, I bought into her game and watched in awe as she waved her paws around to catch it. We've heard that Princess Shelly isn't often a fan of new people, which adds a bit of a challenge to shelter life. She just has her style and is hoping you'll come in and give her a chance soon.
