My story

Meet Brody! Brody is a 1-year-old, 48-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of loyalty and energy to spare. This handsome pup is dog-friendly and has been well-socialized, but he does have a strong chase instinct so a feline-free home would be best. While Brody's breed is typically meant to be working dogs, Brody enjoys chasing horses and is scared of cattle - so we don't anticipate this being an option for him. With that being said, he is an extremely energetic and driven dog who would love some type of work or training to keep him stimulated and happy! He’s a smart boy who already knows “sit” and “heel,” and he’s currently working on improving his recall. Brody is incredibly loyal to his people and will happily bond with a new family who’s ready to give him the love and structure he needs. Brody is being rehomed due to the passing of his owner, and we're hoping to find him a new home where he can thrive and continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
