Luna is a beautiful 4-year-old Australian Shepherd with a tender heart and soulful eyes. Life hasn’t always been easy for her, and as a result, she can be very skittish and unsure in new situations. But beneath her shy exterior is a loyal, sensitive soul just waiting to feel safe and loved. Because of her fear-based behaviors and history of reacting when overwhelmed, Luna will need a calm, experienced adopter who understands how to build trust gently and patiently. A securely fenced-in yard is a must, as she is considered a flight risk and will need a safe space to explore at her own pace. Luna finds comfort in the company of other dogs and may thrive with a confident canine companion by her side. With time, understanding, and a little extra love, we believe Luna’s true personality will shine—and the bond she forms will be incredibly rewarding. Luna weighs 33lbs., is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 07/26/2020), and her adoption fee is $315. Luna has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
