My story

*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Rusty! He is a brand new graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Rusty is a happy, energetic pup who's always ready for love and adventure! Whether it's soaking up pets from his favorite humans or racing around with his doggy pals, Rusty is full of life and affection. This athletic guy thrives on activity and would be happiest in a home with a spacious yard and a tall 6' fence to keep his zoomies safe and secure. Rusty really enjoys the company of female dogs and puppies. With other male dogs, he does ok but it takes him a bit more time to warm up to them. He does really well in his kennel at PACK, and is housetrained. He seemed to be decent around the cats we introduced him to, but we do not have a history of him living with any. He cannot, however, go to a home where he will be around chickens! If you're looking for a loyal companion who's equal parts playful and cuddly, Rusty might just be your perfect match!
