Claire

My story

A28007 Claire is a golden colored, approximately 7-year-old, 54-pound, spayed female, Labrador Retriever mix. She entered the shelter as a stray on 05-22-2025 and was not reclaimed by her unknown owner. Claire is a friendly, timid and shy girl here at the shelter. Our staff describes her as a sweet, polite and easy-going girl. Saying she likes attention and affection, but she won’t beg for it. She was easy to leash and happy to go for a walk, exiting her kennel gracefully. She was well behaved and easy to walk. She really enjoys being out on a nice easy walk. She has had some training and will “sit” upon command. She has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. We think she will have a bigger personality once in a new home and away from the shelter noise and busyness. Claire will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.
