Meet Maui The Life of the Paw-ty! Maui is a stunning 50-pound blue beauty, just under 2 years old, with a zest for life and a heart full of love. Shes still very much a puppy and proudly in her Weimaraptor phasehigh energy, goofy, and full of joyful zoomies. Shes got a playful spirit and a toy drive to matchballs, tug, and chew toys are her absolute favorites. Maui is exuberant but smartshe knows sit and wait (on her terms, of course), and her recall is excellent, even without a fenced yard. Her leash manners are a work in progresscuriosity sometimes wins out over trainingbut shes eager to please and will benefit from continued guidance. Maui is fully housebroken and lets you know when she needs to go out with a gentle scratch or nose boop on the doorshe may have been bell-trained in her previous home. She hasnt been crated in her foster home and does well when left in a dog-proofed area with her foster siblings. Shes never met a person she doesnt adore. A champion cuddler, Maui will happily climb into your lap and drift off with her head on your shoulder after a round of play. She lived with cats in her previous home and did well, and older kids would be great, though she may be too enthusiastic for little ones. Maui is a boss babe with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is recommended for any potential fur siblings. A Special Note: Maui has a minor medical anomaly that doesnt slow her down one bit, but she will need an adopter whos understanding, attentive, and committed to her care. Shes absolutely worth itand then some. If youre looking for a vibrant, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining best friend, Maui is ready to steal your heart.
