Reuben Willey

My story

Reuben is the handsome, shy type who has to get to know you a little before turning on the charm. He’s a big, laid back Russian Blue who will spend time on the couch with you but is equally happy to just hang out in the same room looking out the window. (He loves bird watching.) Initially wary of the brush, he has come to love it and although he likes to play, it doesn’t take much to satisfy him. He’s an easy cat to love. Reuben was rescued as a tiny kitten and adopted by a nice young couple where he lived for 4 years. He was returned because he required medical care which they could not afford. His symptoms were excessive drinking and urinating and he has been diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. This condition is not life threatening as long as sufficient water is available (and a clean litter box). He is currently taking a Desmopressin pill 2x/day in hopes that it will reduce his fluid intake/output. Reuben is looking for a foster or adopter. He is neutered, vaccinated, and negative for FiV and FeLV.
