My story

Meet Val – the best puppy! Val is a 6-month-old mixed breed pup—possibly with some hound in the mix—who weighs 30 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium to large, lovable companion. With his stunning copper coat and soulful eyes, Val is as handsome as he is sweet.This playful boy has come a long way since his shelter days. Though he started off a little shy, Val has blossomed in his foster home and now greets new people with tail wags and charm. He’s a natural social butterfly, winning hearts wherever he goes. Val loves romping in the yard, playing with toys, and hanging with his canine buddies. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would be thrilled to join a home with furry siblings—or shine just as brightly as your one and only.He’s doing great with potty training (almost 100%) and doing great with leash walking—he’s a quick study! With a low-to-medium energy level inside, Val enjoys an even mix of playtime and snuggles. After a day of fun, he’s more than happy to curl up for a cozy nap. Val is also a total angel in the car and a pro at giving puppy kisses. And don’t even get us started on his adorable head tilt—it’s practically camera-ready at all times! He is also being fostered with little kids and doing great with them. His favorite person in the house is a little girl.
