Meet Omie, your dream walking companion and certified cuddle expert! This sweet senior gal is a total pro on leash, no pulling, no fuss, just calm, easy strolls by your side. She enjoys two one mile walks a day without missing a beat and stays relaxed around strangers and other dogs. When she`s not soaking up the sights on a walk, she’s snuggling up next to her person, ready for a cozy nap or a quiet evening in. Omie sleeps through the night like a champ and lives for calm companionship. She’s also incredibly smart, responding to sit, shake, down, wait, and drop it with ease, and she’s always ready to learn more with a little encouragement (and a treat or two).Omie’s a social butterfly who thrives on adventure, whether it`s a road trip, a patio lunch, or a stroll through Lowes. She’s polite, relaxed, and completely unfazed by new sights, sounds, and furry friends, even when barked at! Her dog friendly nature shines through in her interactions at home and in shelter playgroups, and she’s showing sweet curiosity toward cats, too. While she`s still working on building confidence when left alone and fine tuning her house training, she’s making steady progress every day.
