Est DOB: 10/14/23 Approx. 30lbs Meet Sparky – The Pup With a Sparkling Personality &#226&#156&#168 Sparky is just as adorable and full of life as his name suggests! This 1.5-year-old bundle of joy is on the lookout for his forever home—and he’s ready to light up your life with love and laughter. Weighing just 26 lbs, Sparky is the perfect size for cuddling—not too big, not too small, and just right for snuggling up on the couch or tagging along on your daily adventures. Sparky’s journey began in a tough spot—he and his sister were found tied to a dumpster in west Houston. But despite his rough start, this resilient pup has blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality.  We believe Sparky is an adorable mix of Boxer and Pug, but whatever the mix, he is a sweetheart. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you—just offer a treat and a few gentle hugs, and Sparky will be crawling into your lap in no time. He’s a silly, lovable boy who adores belly rubs, enjoys going for walks, and thrives around people who offer him kindness and positive attention. Sparky is crate trained, house trained, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations. Like any pup, he’ll need a bit of time to adjust to a new environment, but once he feels safe, his happy, goofy nature shines through. As we are a foster based rescue, we require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.  This can be found on our website at :   Apply Now (almosthomepetrescue.org) $200 (including tax) adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates. If transporting out of state, the total adoption cost will be $500.
