My story

Our Zodiac babies came to use from a TNVR (trap, neuter, vax, return) situation. They were on the friendly side and the people just couldn't bare to return them to the colony. As you can see, they do have their left ear tipped (universal sign of an altered community cat), but it just adds to their allure and fortitude. Leon's personality is as big as his body (which is rather rotund). He is extremely loving and playful. He's kind of the ambassador of our living room and greets all the newcomers with a Hello and Do you have any snacks with you? He is easily the favorite cat in the rescue. Everyone that meets him falls in love. If all our cats were as personable as Leon, we could adopt them all out within a week of arrival. BUT... Leon has a quirk that we cannot "fix". Leon is a 50/50 on if he will poop in the box. Sometimes he does. Sometimes he doesn't. If he doesn't, its within 6" of the box. So you aren't having to be a "turd hunter". We have tried attractants, all types of litter, big litter boxes, tall litter boxes, short litter boxes, covered litter boxes. The only thing we haven't tried (and are not able to as a rescue) is a self cleaning litter box.  So Leon is looking for someone who loves his big orange body and big orange personality so much that they don't mind picking up a little poo once a day.  If you are looking for love, entertainment, and a reason to keep the floor mopped - put in your adoption application now to meet our "Garfield"  ##2179517##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
