My story

🐾 Meet Benny! 🐾 Benny may be 14–15 years old, but don’t let his age fool you—this sweet senior still knows how to have a good time! He bounds through the doggie door like he’s had the best adventure and lights up the room with his alert eyes and joyful energy. Benny is: Just as happy to snooze as he is to go for a walk Smart and knows a few basic commands Affectionate and content just being with his person Friendly with other dogs—he’s not aggressive at all Good with cats Good with respectful children A little vocal with strangers, but it’s all bark, no bite A touch willful, which just adds to his charm! Housetrained and kennel trained This soulful gentleman would do well in a variety of homes, whether with an active family or a quiet senior household. He does have a tumor on his leg that his previous owner said has been there for a long time. Our vet recommends simply keeping an eye on it. Benny is spunky, sweet, and still has plenty of love to give! If you are interested in adoption please reach out to PAWS Rescue, Inc. for an application.
