My story

Howdy from Texas, I am a pretty little chocolate brown Miniature Pinscher / Chihuahua mix named Birdie. I am about 2 years old, weigh 10 lbs, and supposedly, I wandered into someone's backyard so they dropped me off at the local Animal Shelter in Lytle, Texas. These days, I am staying in a foster home and having some fun while getting ready to find an awesome forever family! My foster mom says I am a happy, friendly girl with a medium energy level. I am friendly with all humans and other dogs, and I like to play and dance. I love all toys, especially the ones I can toss around. I am affectionate and like to nuzzle, but I am not a big kisser. I rarely bark, and I’m well-behaved. I am working on housebreaking and leash walking, and I am potty pad trained. I don't mind being in a crate or going for a ride in the car. I am just a sweet and happy girl who loves attention. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
