My story

Meet Duke– A Survivor Looking for a Second Chance Duke was rescued from West Valley Animal Shelter just one day before he was scheduled to be euthanized. This brave 9-month-old Pitbull mix has already endured more than any dog should. Age: ~9 months Breed: Pitbull mix Weight: ~40 lbs Health: Vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered Duke has likely faced abuse and neglect in his past, and he’s still learning how to trust. While he can be cautious, he has shown that with patience and care, he is capable of bonding and beginning to heal. Duke will need ongoing training, a stable environment, and someone with experience in his breed who can help him feel safe. We are currently interviewing potential adopters or foster-to-adopt homes who are committed, patient, and experienced with dogs like Duke.
