My story

Hi, my name is Harper. I am from Arkansas. From her foster: Harper is a total love-bug! She is an ideal buddy who is low-key and LOVES to snuggle and be close to her people. Our foster home consists of adults, 2 kids (ages 12 & 9) and a resident 4 yr old dog (husky mix). She is great with everyone but her most favorite is anyone who is sitting down so she can snuggle by you! She is very quiet in the home and follows us (mostly Mom) from room-to-room. Once we sit down on the couch, she is right there getting snuggles and scratches! -Rides great in car -Low to moderate exercise -She takes a few pills each day to manage her arthritis (she was struck by a car) -Very quiet in the home but will bark when first left alone -Sleeps in bed with kids or adults (by feet) -Housetrained (she has the run of our full house) She would be best in a home with no cats. Her previous foster said she would chase cats (she also likes to chase squirrels and rabbits outside). From the Vet: Harper arrived with healed fractures to her front legs. These prior injuries resulted in arthritis to both legs so, she will require medical management with pain meds and supplements.
