My story

Wood-burning, or pyrography, is an art as old as humans have used tools! Modern pyrographers are surely familiar with the Colwood brand of wood-burning tools, thought to be one of the best. While we cannot vouch for his artistic aptitude, we can tell you that our pup named Colwood is definitely “one of the best” in the shelter! Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:“Colwood is sweet and friendly! I entered his kennel and leashed him up and he was very happy and excited to walk over to a play yard and play with his kennelmate. They ran all around the play yard and had lots and lots of fun before he went and laid down on a splash pad, cooling off in the water. He`s a sweet, fun boy!”“Colwood is very sweet! He was very eager to get out of his kennel! Once leashed up we went to a play yard and all he wanted was to be pet and when I would stop he`d jump up to let me know I should continue. He didn`t react to any of the other dogs going out and back into his kennel and is just very friendly.”Colwood shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. While we don’t recommend using heated tools around Colwood, he’d probably love to make some art with you- maybe painting with his paws! We’re sure he’s up for exploring life’s fun and everyday moments with you! Come meet him today!
