My story

Say hello to Brandy! Two-year-old Brandy has quite the back-story. She was found, along with four other dogs, abandoned in a kennel in a parking lot late at night. They are understandably pretty fearful of people, but each dog has made progress in their own way, with people socialization. Brandy is still quite fearful of new people, but with those she is used to, she will approach you slowly for pets. Her go-to with new people is avoidance and barking. If you move too fast, she will nip at you. Brandy does well with other dogs she's met at rescue and we think another dog or two in the home would help her warm up faster to a new environment. We are open to an adult-only foster or forever home for Brandy. She will need a home that is dedicated to keeping her safe and secure, as well as providing lots of love and patience.
