Steven

My story

Steven is an amazing pup! He is approximately 7 years old and 10 pounds. He had a dental and unfortunately lost several of his adorable and funny bottom teeth – but still has some! He will eat dry food if it is mixed with wet food or softened, he gobbles down wet food which is his favourite. Steven is a silly boy. He came to his foster very shy – but within hours he had become a Velcro dog. He LOVES cuddling and attention. He wants to be your shadow. He loves to play and has a lot of life and joy in him. Steven does not have a mean bone in his body. He loves all other animals of all ages. He is great with young playful dogs and older fragile dogs; he is really great at reading dog cues. He has good potty manners and prefers to go outside. If required he will try and hit the pee pad – but his foster feels this is a new experience for him so he is still learning. 99% of the time he goes outside. He holds his potty all night and is a very clean dog. He is getting used to the busy city if Toronto and working daily on leash manners He will never try to bite, but he will try to run away from you if he does not know you. Steven was found as a stray and came to the rescue a tad skittish, but he has really grown and blossomed. After a few days of decompression in his new home he will be doing great. Steven does really like other dogs and we prefer him to be home in a place that has other animals to keep him company. Steven is an all-around great dog, a gentle soul, and quite quirky to watch . He makes us smile and he is more than deserving of his happily ever after. DISCLAIMER; I understand that the breed,health, age, nature, or temperament of the TXCR adopted dog is not guaranteed.
